At Tetra Tech we are currently accepting applications for an entry level Transportation Engineer to join our Transportation team in Texas on a full-time basis.

As an Engineer you will be involved with the design of roadways, bridges, and traffic control systems, and will work with our team of recognized industry experts.

Your Role

• Design of highway, arterial and local roadway improvements
• Design of bridges and culverts
• Development of signing, pavement marking, traffic signal and maintenance of traffic plans
• 3D Modeling and CAD
• Preparing project construction quantity calculations and cost estimates
• Site visits to support the design process
• Preparing alternative evaluation studies and similar reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (transportation focus is a plus), 0-2 years experience
• Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCad, or Civil 3D is favorable
• EIT registration with the intent to obtain a PE registration is preferred
• Self-starter who can enthusiastically take on new challenges, this is the role you have been looking for
