Summer - Seasonal Worker (3 months)
Job Description Overview :
This is a temporary and entry-levelaccounting assistant position. An accounting assistant will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn about various aspects of the accounting functions.
The candidate should have solid interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, andhelps ensure that alltask assigned is done properlyin an efficient way and in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assisting withdata entry for AP
- Filing dispute and uploading debit memo for AR
- Reviewing eShop disputes and summarizing dispute reasons
- Testing the accuracy of e-Billing system to ensure accurate and complete invoice records can be maintained
- Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and perform office operations
- Performing other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills :
- Knowledge of MS Excel(Vlookup, Pivot table), Word, andoutlook
- Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualification :
- Must either be a high school graduate or higher
- Ability to work individually or in a team environment
- Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
- Self-initiative, Team work, enthusiasm and positive attitude
- Provide quality of work including speed and accuracy
- Can follow SOP under supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Maintain good attendance
Working Conditions :
Office Only : Typically works in an office environment
$16.80 / hour is pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. It does not include bonuses, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D insurance, Paid Time Off, EAP, & 401(k).
The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
