Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team in Cleveland, OH. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in payroll processing across multiple states and pay cycles.
Responsibilities
Process payroll for approximately 500 employees, including both hourly and salaried staff
Manage multistate payroll across multiple pay cycles
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Maintain accurate payroll records and reports
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies
Assist with audits and reporting as needed
Qualifications
Proven experience in payroll processing for large employee groups
Familiarity with multistate payroll regulations and varied pay cycles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in payroll software and Excel
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Pay Details : $23.00 to $29.00 per hour
