Staff Educator

This opportunity is for full-time (40 hours per week) Staff / Nurse Educator. The position offers full benefits and a convenient schedule of Monday through Friday business hours.

MUST BE A LICENSED REGISTERED NURSE IN NORTH CAROLINA (OR COMPACT STATE).

Staff / Nurse Educator

We are currently seeking a Staff / Nurse Educator to join our talented and caring team. Our ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking skills, great communication skills with the ability to engage positively with patients, staff, families, providers, etc.

The Staff / Nurse Educator is responsible for developing, coordinating and conducting of clinical and facility-wide staff education.

Provides education and training to staff based on requirements established by Joint Commission, State and Federal guidelines, as well as those recommended by management / QI findings which will enable staff to maintain and improve required levels of knowledge and skills to perform their jobs.

Under supervision by the Infection Preventionist, the Staff / Nurse Educator also acts in the role of Infection Control Nurse and coordinates the Infection Control program in collaboration with the interdisciplinary Safety / Infection Control Committee.
