Academic Breast Surgeons
This job was posted by : For more information, please see : DescriptionThe University of Chicago 's Department of Surgery, Section of General Surgery, is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank.
Appointees will provide longitudinal inpatient and outpatient care to patients seeking breast care. Direct patient care responsibilities include managing patients with complex surgical oncological needs and limited off-hours and weekend coverage.
Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. We especially welcome applicants with leadership experience and interest in academic administration.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must : 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery, and 4) have completed an accredited fellowship or equivalent training in surgical oncology or breast surgical oncology.
