Performance Test Lead

Job Description :

• Strong experience in Performance testing using Neoload / HP LoadRunner / JMeter etc.
• Identifies performance test environment requirements and works with the infrastructure, network operations, environment and release teams to setup the environment for effective SLA measurements.
• Experienced working with the different project stakeholders to help define and document performance SLAs, requirements and expectations around critical factors such as response time, throughput, transactions / second, concurrent users, CPU utilization, memory, disk, network utilization, thread counts, connection pooling, hit ratios.
• Design & Implement performance testing framework leveraging Neoload / open-source technologies (as applicable)
• Utilizing load, stress, and analysis tools such as Neoload to model performance scenarios, perform initial analysis and identify potential system and resources bottlenecks.
• Lead test data setup activities required to execute performance tests.
• Develop, execute, and analyze performance tests with complex workload and large simulated test datasets for SAP systems in Unit / Build and Performance test suites.
• Prepare and present performance benchmarks, best practices, test results, comparisons, and analysis
• Analyze performance results to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest optimizations.
• Research new ways of performance testing and recommend system configuration and tuning improvements based on observations.
• Ensure NFR objectives are met within the cycle.
• Possess thorough understanding of web protocols including HTTP / HTTPS / TCP / IP, WSDL, SOAP / REST services, etc.
• Analysis of systems to identify risks that may cause systems to not meet non-functional requirements.
• Exposure to Performance Testing platform administration / configuration activities.
• Experience with Test management tools (qTest Manager, HP ALM, Jira, Solman Test Suite etc.)
• Exhibits critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Support Functional testing support activities to a limited capacity using qTest tool.
• Ability to work independently or in a group setting and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid test methodologies and environments.
