This position will lead the development and standardization of the OBE group CMMS program for all locations. The role is responsible for developing the standard Preventative Maintenance instructions, parts inventory, and associated training required for OBE sites.

In addition, the role will be responsible for leading the sharing of best maintenance practices, support the creation of standardized reporting metrics / KPI's, and evaluating historical data to support the overall asset efficiency and strategy for OBE.

This role can be based anywhere in the +50% travel required

Here’s What You’ll Get To Do

  • Establish a baseline understanding of current eMaint usage within OBE to determine need for expanded deployment of CMMS program
  • Develop and maintain standardized Preventive Maintenance instructions for primary equipment in partnership with the Core Technology leaders
  • Develop recommended spare parts and inventory levels required for each asset type
  • Support installation of new / rebuilt equipment at OBE site with early development of preventative maintenance plans
  • Train sites on use of eMaint CMMS for planning, scheduling and inventory tools
  • Become technical support representative within OBE for eMaint CMMS solutions
  • Evaluates new features, functionality and integration of tools within eMaint CMMS
  • Owns building a network with site Engineering and Maintenance leadership to strengthen knowledge and capability through best practice sharing and development
  • Work closely with site operations teams to identify systemic problems and develop plans and procedures to minimize or eliminate issues
  • Provide advanced analytics of lost time across the group with the intent to provide advanced analytics of lost time across the group with the intent to identify repetitive problems within like technologies and provide guidance for long term solutions
  • Developing and implementing new maintenance procedures
  • Designing and implementing new procedures for monitoring and testing equipment
  • Finding new technologies and processes that can improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Developing and implementing training programs for employees
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure that reliability is integrated into all aspects of the organization

Here’s What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum education required : BS Engineering
  • 5+ years of hands on maintenance experience
  • 10+ years of maintenance planning and scheduling using CMMS systems, preferably eMaint
  • Experience with CMMS system planning for multisite operations

  • Working knowledge of maintenance programs, and labor management

  • Technical aptitude : a strong understanding of the systems, equipment, and processes at hand. This includes knowledge of the engineering principles and specific systems used at an organization
  • Problem-solving : the ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Communication : the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

This includes working with Strategic vendors and OBE site leaders

  • Project management : the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively including planning, scheduling, and organizing
  • Data management skills : the ability to use statistical analysis tools as well as the ability to interpret and communicate the results of the analysis
  • A continuous improvement mindset : identifying and implementing ways to continuously improve reliability
  • Safety-conscious : the ability to identify potential hazards and take the necessary steps to mitigate them
