Direct Agents is seeking an experienced Account Director to join our Client Services leadership team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record within digital media (agency side), exceptional communication skills, and a passion for driving client growth while inspiring and motivating a team.
This role pays $115k-135k depending on experience, plus a bonus structure.
THE ROLE
Team Management - manage, coach, and inspire a team plus maintain and grow the overall business health of accounts :
- Team planning and goal setting
- Leveraging team resources to better service clients and manage account workload
- 1 : 1s with team members for account updates and growth opportunities
- Account allocations & budgeting within team
- Enforcing best in class client services practices on all accounts
- Managing “up” - provide guidance to senior management for continuous improvement, increased efficiency, and betterment of processes
Client Partner
Lead and manage assigned client accounts, maintaining and growing effective communication and relationshipsDevelop strong and meaningful relationships with clients to understand their objectives and provide tailored & innovative solutionsPro-actively manage client expectations and share new ideasRevenue and organic growth-mindsetMentor client team to develop this client partnership and strategic mindsetCampaign Strategy and Execution
Drive forward-thinking strategy, a pulse on the ever-changing media landscape, and data-driven mindset for new initiatives and testingLead the onboarding of new clients, ensuring all aspects are optimized for success.Work closely with subject matter experts across the agencyDevelop comprehensive campaign strategies to meet client goals and objectives.Workshop ideas for new channel initiatives to reach client target audiences.Lead QBR & client strategic planning meetingsDESIRED BACKGROUND
7+ years of account management / client services experience specific to digital2+ years experience managing multiple direct reportsExceptional oral and written communication skillsExpert relationship builder with strong client service skillsStrong leader both internally and externallyAnalytical skills required must have experience in MS Excel and data analysisAbility to think strategically on your feetStrong attention to detail, time management, and diligent work ethicStrong time management skills ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesThis role is based in our NYC office and you must reside or be willing to relocate within commuting distance of the office for this role
