Job Title : Accounts Payable Specialist – Law Firm

Vaco is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a law firm client located in midtown Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of AP experience within a law firm environment and be proficient in Aderant along with strong MS Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payments

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures, including expense reimbursement and vendor onboarding / maintenance

Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting

Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to ensure timely and accurate payments

Qualifications

5+ years of accounts payable experience in a law firm setting

Strong proficiency with Aderant; MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas)

Knowledge of 1099 reporting and vendor tax documentation

Familiarity with general ledger coding and accounting principles

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
