Turf Equipment Quality Control Technician

Position Overview

Quality control is the subject matter expert responsible for ensuring equipment and services meet required quality and safety standards.

They play a critical role in upholding our reputation for exceeding our customers' expectations.

What You'll Do

• Be the equipment subject matter expert and be able to inspect and set up equipment according to manufacturer specifications
• QC all units after set-up, repair, demo, or preowned work has been completed
• Responsible for maintaining QC summary report and assembling customer packet
• Perform final inspection and stage equipment for customer pickup
• Assist and train technicians when opportunities are found at QC
• Perform minor repairs and set ups when needed
• Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment serviced
• Participate in available company sponsored training to develop skills and knowledge
• Perform all duties in a professional and safe manner

Requirements

Skills We Are Seeking

• Minimum of 2 years' mechanical experience with diesel engines
• Experience in the Commercial Turf Industry is a plus
• Must have the ability to read and analyze documents and procedure manuals
• Must be able to perform diagnostic tests to identify and rebuild / repair malfunctions on all equipment
• Certifications from Kohler, Toro, Briggs and Stratton are a plus
• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic problems
• Must have the ability to read and analyze documents and procedure manuals
• Must be able to routinely lift up to 75 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent required
