Senior System Administrator
Position Summary :
The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing the information technology systems and networks within the organization, specific to operations.
This position will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation and suggested improvements of CyncHealth's IT infrastructure, providing technical support to staff.
Position Responsibilities :
- Manage and monitor the organization's information technology systems and networks within Technology Operations
- Work with Integration Engineers to collaboratively install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
- Troubleshoot system and network issues, collaborating with other IT professionals as needed.
- Provide technical support to staff, assisting with hardware and software-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Conduct system performance evaluations and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for system enhancements.
Experience / Requirements :
- Minimum (6) years' work experience in IT business / industry work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field required.
- Healthcare and Technology experience highly preferred :
- Interface engines (Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, etc)
- VPN configurations
- Monitoring and Alerting systems
- Certificate Authority management
- Port and IP allocation
- Packet Captures and analysis for Web Services
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional experience with customer engagement in written and verbal communication.
- Display extensive organization skills and methodology in task management.
- Highly efficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio / Lucid Chart, OneNote.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
- Ability to convey a strong presence and professional image.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment and consistently meet strict service level agreement performance requirements.
- Ability to work independently as well as ability to effectively work in a team environment and maintain strong working relationships.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and pick up new tasks to assist with organizational goals.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Extended working hours may be necessary.
- Light work requiring exertion up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and / or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
