Credit and Collections- Accounts Receivable Administrator

Reports to : Credit and Collections Manager

Position Summary :

Administrative Assistant : Provide daily administrative and clerical duties for the Credit and Collections team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Administrative Assistant :

• Able to work in customer portals to upload invoices.
• Assist with compiling information and mailing customer refunds.
• Prepare invoices for delivery via US Mail or email according to the customer’s requests.
• Complete lien waivers on a requested basis.
• Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff.
• Investigate returned mail to determine the correct address for mailing of invoices / correspondence through minimal phone calling, google searching, etc.
• Working branch aging report by emailing past due invoices.
• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

No formal supervisory role.

Physical / Mental Demands :

Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines. Position is largely sedentary; however, some filing is required. The ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend, sit or stand is necessary. Occasional driving is required.

Compensation :

The pay range listed is the base pay range that Satellite Shelters, inc / Satellite Industries, Inc. reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
