Supervising Watchman Water Management
Under supervision, positions are located in the Department of Water Management (DWM) and are responsible for performing a combination of supervisory and administrative duties, working in the field or in the office overseeing staff and performing duties relating to maintaining the security and safety of various DWM facilities (e.g., water purification plants, pumping stations and service yards, on a 24 hour seven day a week basis), and performs related duties as required. Positions may rotate between assignments in the field and desk duty monitoring security alarm and camera video security systems.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications : Two (2) years of work experience performing security or watchman duties; A valid State of Illinois Driver's License is required.
Note : You must provide your valid U.S Driver's License at the time of processing.
Selection Requirements : This position requires applicants to successfully pass skills assessment tests and complete an interview. Test results will be sent out by the Department of Human Resources after the test results have been analyzed and compiled. The candidates that receive a passing score on the skills assessment test will be invited to interview for the position. Candidate(s) receiving a passing score on the test and possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral interview, will be selected. Preference will be given to external candidates possessing the following :
