Position Overview :
You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and providing valuable insights to support the project teams.
You'll work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive, competitive, and aligned with project goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather information and develop accurate estimates.
- Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and tender documents in a timely manner.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, costs, and project-related documents.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
