A staffing partner for school health services is seeking a Substitute Registered Nurse for school assignments in and around Bothell, WA. Applicants should hold a Washington RN license, be prepared to complete the state-mandated fingerprint clearance, and be comfortable providing flexible coverage.

Responsibilities :

Respond to student health needs including first-aid, illness, injury, and chronic condition monitoring.

Keep accurate and confidential health records, ensure compliance with school district guidelines and state regulations.

Partner with school administrators and families to coordinate care plans, health screenings, referrals, and follow-up.

Administer prescribed medications / treatments, watch for adverse reactions, and review health care plans.

Support preventive health measures, immunization tracking, and health education initiatives in the school community.

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.

Prior experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or similar setting preferred.

Completion of fingerprinting and background check required prior to assignment.

Excellent communicator, adaptable in various school settings, able to respond calmly under pressure.

Understands school health documentation, confidentiality laws, and can function independently.
