JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Social Worker provides evaluation, assessment, and treatment to patients in the form of individual, marital, family, and group therapy as well as triage, crisis intervention, diagnosis, education, and discharge of patients.
The Clinical Social Worker provides these services according to the philosophy and practice objectives established by Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) and the department, which reflect a commitment to customer focus, people orientation, system integration, and financial stability.
This position works with providers, professionals, and agencies to ensure continuity of care through clear, appropriate, and timely communication.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Minimum Required : Master’s or doctoral degree in social work.
Preferred / Optional : None
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required : Experience working with patients of all age ranges that have a range of mental health problems and diagnoses.
Experience completing thorough intake assessments and making diagnoses. Experience providing ongoing treatment which addresses problems.
Experience with individual, couple, family and group treatment. Experience identifying and understanding the psychodynamics of individuals.
Experience working in a team environment. Experience completing thorough documentation in a timely manner.

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
Minimum Required : Current State of Wisconsin license as a Social Worker Licensed Clinical
