Addison Group has partnered with a leading pharmaceutical organization seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to support the operations of a 90,000-square-foot facility. Job Description
The Facilities Manager will oversee daily building operations and maintenance activities, ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant with company and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of facility systems, vendor management, and project coordination, with the ability to stay organized and proactive in managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily facility operations and serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance vendors and contractors.
- Coordinate vendor schedules for maintenance, HVAC, janitorial, and equipment servicing.
- Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance or safety concerns.
- Ensure preventive maintenance is performed on key building systems such as air conditioning, refrigeration, and backup generators.
- Track maintenance records, inspection reports, and service logs.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of facility-related supplies and materials.
- Support budgeting, procurement, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant facility environment aligned with safety protocols.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or operations coordination.Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proven experience working with vendors and coordinating maintenance services.Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and building systems preferred.Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills.Comfortable working independently in a warehouse or industrial setting.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools a plus.Additional Details
