As a vital member of our team, the Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the achievement of New Age's business objectives.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution and implementation of defined business objectives set by New Age.

Their duties include identifying and sourcing new customer industry targets, prospecting and maintaining defined quotas and sales objectives, growing, and developing a sales pipeline and delivering weekly updates based on activity.

Essential Job Duties

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy focused on driving revenue, profitability, and enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging opportunities, new market segments, and evolving customer needs.
  • Proactively arrange and facilitate business meetings with potential clients to promote our products / services and understand their objectives
  • Maintain meticulous records of sales, revenue, invoices, and other relevant metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Cultivate and nurture a robust sales pipeline aligned with company targets and objectives, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities
  • Provide prompt and reliable feedback, as well as exceptional after-sales support, to foster long-term relationships with clients
  • Mentor and develop entry-level staff to enhance their sales capabilities and contribute to their professional growth
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and solutions to prospective customers, positioning New Age as a leader in the market

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of logistics sales and operations experience
  • Experience managing multiple customers simultaneously
  • Strong customer sales ability and ability to multi-task operational tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in MS Office, emphasis in Excel and strong typing skills
  • Data analysis
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to efficiently pivot from one task to another throughout the day
  • Team player with ability to influence execution
  • Eager to learn and open to different methods of execution
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in a professional manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field
  • Bilingual, English / Spanish
