Job descriptionProficiency in Applied Epic is required Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within an insurance brokerage or agency.
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk with experience in the insurance industry and hands-on proficiency with Applied Epic software. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy, teamwork, and professional growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile client payments, carrier payables, and commissions
- Maintain accurate financial records and account balances within the Applied Epic system
- Assist with monthly reporting, invoicing, and general ledger entries
- Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies and outstanding balances
- Support the accounting team with audits, reconciliations, and administrative tasks
