We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, ensuring a welcoming and organized front desk experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities :
- Greet visitors and employees, issue access badges, and ensure compliance with building entry protocols.
- Coordinate visitor check-ins with security personnel and vendors while maintaining an accurate visitor log.
- Answer and direct incoming calls, manage the front desk inbox, and escalate pressing matters to Workplace Operations.
- Oversee conference room bookings, handle last-minute schedule adjustments, and provide basic A / V setup assistance.
- Prepare guest Wi-Fi credentials and offer guidance for meetings and events happening onsite.
- Manage incoming mail, packages, and courier deliveries, including sorting and notifying recipients.
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, replenish supplies, and perform light facilities tasks as needed.
- Open and resolve simple workplace tickets using the designated system.
- Collaborate with Workplace Operations on ad hoc tasks to ensure a smooth and positive onsite experience.

- Proven experience in receptionist or front desk roles, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and the ability to efficiently handle inbound calls.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of conference room scheduling and A / V setup processes.
- Ability to follow building access protocols and manage visitor logs accurately.
- Proficiency in handling incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Comfortable using workplace ticketing systems and collaborating with operations teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with visitors and staff effectively.
