Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic individual with a strong background in finance, accounting, and leadership to join our team as the Director of Finance.
This role is pivotal to our organization, responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of daily accounting activities, and the production of financial and KPI reports for management.
Primary Responsibilities :
Oversee the preparation and delivery of the company’s financial statements to local management and our parent company, Integrity.
Manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end closings.
Maintain accounting ledgers and records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure accurate and complete record-keeping of company transactions.
Mentor and lead finance / accounting / commissions staff and department leaders, particularly in sales, to ensure efficient and accurate completion of accounting and finance activities.
Collaborate with the executive team on annual budgeting and strategy reviews to meet overall company goals and objectives.
Conduct internal audits of processes, records, and information, and direct the implementation of necessary corrections.
Supervise the mission-critical commission systems that deliver payments twice weekly to our nationally deployed insurance agents.
Post payroll and commission data to the accounting payment system for contractors, field insurance agents, and W2 employees.
Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll through systems operated by the parent company.
Generate and review commission and payroll reports for the executive team.
Provide support for escalated field agent inquiries related to incentives and commissions.
Primary Skills & Requirements :
Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
Proven leadership and management skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks as a team player and leader.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited Business School.
CPA and MBA credentials are highly desirable.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, and leadership roles.
