Position : Construction Project Engineer VDC / BIMEngineer

JobDescription :
We are looking for a Construction ProjectEngineer to join our team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop and coordinate 3Dobjectoriented models
- Manage project documents (Drawing updatesRFIs submittals PCOs and NOCs) using among other platforms Prologand ProjectSight
- Process subcontractor RFIs andSubmittal
- Createconcrete shop drawings including lift drawings and formworkdrawings for field use
- Perform contract drawing review forconstructability under supervision and issueRFIs
- Produce Layoutinformation for the Robotic Total Station
- Participate in project BIM coordination andclash detections
- Produce logistic drawings using TEKLASketchup REVIT and other software
- Produce modelbased quantity report implementactual schedule information into the model
- Perform 3D scanning using ascanner
- Produceasbuilt models based on the 3D scanned files or surveyingresults
- Create 4D / 5Dvisual simulations incorporating BIMTIMECOST using Navisworks orSynchro
- SupportPreconstruction and Business Development efforts as requested bycreating a pursuit model and photorealisticrendering
- Producepresentation quality Rendered models and flythroughs and issue andmanage RFIs
QUALIFICATIONS(MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS) :
- Minimum bachelors degree inarchitecture engineering or constructionrelated field or equivalentwork experience
- 2years in the building or design industry preferred but notrequired.
- Ability tounderstand interpret and independently use constructiondrawings.
- Understanding concepts of VDC orBIM
- Exposure to andpreliminary experience with some Building Information Model (BIM)systems (i.e. Autodesk Revit Bentley Vico Constructor TEKLA SynchroNavisworks Sketchup and similar software suites) isrequired
- Excellentcomputer skills including a high level of proficiency in MS OfficeAdobe Acrobat and Bluebeam
- Strong personal management skills dedicationorganization and openmindedness required
- Creative thinker with the ability to work ina closeknit environment
