Job description

RPStaffing is conducting an immediate Direct-Hire search for the Operations Associate with an enormously successful and growing AI startup based in Alexandria, VA. The culture is fast paced, inclusive, and very exciting. This position has tremendous opportunities for growth.

Status : Direct-Hire / Permanent

Job Title : Administrative Coordinator

Office Status : Hybrid

Office Location : Alexandria, VA

Schedule / Benefits : This position is permanent. The weekly hours are scheduled for a part-time weekly schedule for the first 2-3 months, after which this will have a full-time weekly schedule with a comprehensive benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with company leaders to centralize communications, create operational systems, and support office operations
  • Employee Experience :
  • Organize and communicate with staff regarding team-building activities, happy hours, and office events
  • Welcome new hires on their first day
  • Create new hire welcome packets
  • Help set up workstations
  • Help new-hires with system log-on information
  • Guide new hires to benefits information
  • Facilities :
  • Ensure the office is in good running order
  • Track and order office supplies
  • Ensure kitchen area and water is stocked
  • Preform any other office facilities related tasks as needed
  • Writing :
  • Manage frequent writing assignments as requested
  • Create client memos to share logistics on coming to the office like parking information

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree with one year of related experience; HR support experience is helpful but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding independent judgement and critical thinking skills
  • Strong ability to create and organize systems
  • Strong computer skills; experience with MS 365
