Sr Project Accountant General Contractor

Our client is a well-established general contractor in the Western suburbs of Chicago that prides themselves on quality work for their clients, and a strong internal culture for their employees. Our client is looking for an experienced project accountant with experience in the general contracting industry to join the team and hit the ground running from day one.

Job Description

Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of project costs and revenues. Perform analysis and reconciliation of project accounts. Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial forecasts. Coordinate with project managers to review financial status of projects. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Participate in the annual audit process. Support the accounting department with other tasks as needed. Managing projects ranging $200k-$40M General contracting billings for the subcontractors AR / AP AIA Billing G702 / 703 forms Change orders, lien waivers - Partnering with PMs on budgets for the project
