Make sure the technology stack handles product needs and scales as requirements change and usage increases. Understand technical architectures, tooling needs, automation plans, product launch plans, and other issues and create comprehensive plans for prioritizing technical and resourcing challenges.

Communicate cross-functionality and provide constructive feedback into product design, and help craft solutions to difficult user experience and system integrations problems.

Hold technical discussions within organization and have strategic influence. Drive engineering efforts. Balance the need to "keep things running" with allocating time to long-term, high-impact projects.

Mentor engineers on team. Recruit and hire engineers. Play a critical role in helping to set the goals and direction for team.

Business intelligence and data warehousingData architectureWriting SQL statementsProgramming in Python, Perl, or JavaDriving the vision for business intelligence and data warehousing across a product vertical, and defining and executing on a plan to achieve that visionManaging delivery of high impact dashboards and data visualizationsDriving data quality across the product verticalDriving the design, building, and launching of new data models and data pipelines in production.
