ABOUT FREEHAND CHICAGO

Welcome to Freehand’s secondoutpost! Designed by Manhattan-based Roman and Williams, the buildingcelebrates the city’s Midwestern heritage with a string of evocative communalspaces and rooms located in the restored 1927 Art Deco building, set among thehigh-rises of the downtown River North neighbourhood home to some of thecity’s best art galleries, boutiques and restaurants.

Featuring 217 rooms andamazing public spaces like Café Integral coffee and breakfast bar and the cozyBroken Shaker Bar, it’s a buzzing, busy space that represents the best ofFreehand.

Between the busy social calendar and the ever-changing makeup ofguests and locals coming to play, it’s a particularly fun and fulfilling spacefor everyone in the Freehand Chicago team to work in.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Preparing alcoholic andnon-alcoholic beverages and cocktails for bar customers
• Interacting with customers, takingorders and serving food where necessary
• Accurately and promptly fulfilguest orders and resolve guest complaints
• Provide the best service byunderstanding all aspects of product knowledge for the creation and dispense ofdrinks and table maintenance
• Maintain a consistent service,following company standards & procedures
• Be Responsible for all cashhandling whilst you are on duty
• Know all statutory legislation and ensure H&S, Fire Safety and FoodHygiene compliance

YOURROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience behind the bar in abusy, fast-paced restaurant environment
• Solid knowledge of coffees, wines,liquor and champagnes
• Involvement in Cocktail development andtraining
• Stock and waste accountability
