Responsibilities and Duties
As a minimum, the following is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities expected of the Driver. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject to change as the needs of the organization require.
- Ensure compliance with delivery and specification requirements of customer orders
- Prep and / or load all outbound freight on TEK trucks.
- Deliver all materials on truck in good condition with proper paperwork as needed.
- Assist daily in the storage of excess inventory.
- Maintain facility, vehicles and equipment.
- Keep a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all TEKs safety rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Adhere to all TEKs handbook policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to measure using different tools
- Ability to read and calculate numbers and data
- Operate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers, and suppliers
- Strong work ethic; self-motivated
- Valid State Drivers License; safe driving record, NO CDL REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of driving experience of 24ft flatbed truck. No CDL Required.
Pay : Commensurate with experience.
Schedule : Full-Time : 7 : 30AM-4 : 00PM, Monday - Friday
Part-Time : 7 : 30AM-4 : 00PM, Monday, Wednesday, Friday
