State & Local Tax Manager

Those in local taxes at PwC will focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on local tax matters. Your work will involve analyzing and interpreting local tax laws and regulations, assisting businesses in complying with local tax requirements and optimizing their local tax positions. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. The Opportunity As part of the State and Local Tax Generalist team you are set to lead the way as technology-enabled tax advisors who provide benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Manager you supervise, develop, and coach teams, manage client service accounts, and drive assigned client engagement workstreams by independently solving and analyzing complex problems to develop top-quality deliverables. You play a visible role in cultivating meaningful client relationships, inspiring your team, and navigating ambiguity, while upholding PwC's quality standards and contributing to the firm's purpose, principles, and broader business strategies.

The salary range for this position is : $99,000 - $266,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
