Job description

Benefits Administrator

Administer and manage employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA / HSA, and 401(k).

Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing timely and accurate support.

Coordinate and support the annual open enrollment process, including system updates, employee communications, and vendor collaboration.

Process and audit benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS and carrier systems.

Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations such as COBRA, ACA, ERISA, and HIPAA.

Partner with payroll to ensure accurate benefits deductions and resolve discrepancies.

Collaborate with brokers and vendors to manage benefits plans and resolve employee issues.

Maintain accurate and confidential records, reporting, and documentation.

Required :

2+ years of experience in benefits administration, HR, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of benefits programs and relevant regulations.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.

Preferred :

Experience with HRIS and benefits administration platforms.

Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.
