The Operations and Maintenance Supervisor provides expert administrative and technical support for facility upkeep, overseeing building systems, utilities, and maintenance teams. This role coordinates shop activities, supervises staff, and ensures smooth operations through both scheduled and emergency responses. The ideal candidate should have experience in a hospital facilities environment and skills related to maintenance operations in a healthcare setting, people type leadership, experience in conducting maintenance operations / projects with limited disruptions, experience in the development and research involved in creating preventative maintenance programs pertaining to hospital equipment. Knowledge or building infrastructure, MEP systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, ability to lead and work together as a team to accomplish the goal of having a safe and functional environment, the want to learn and lead a team by example, be the GO-TO contact for your team for any emergencies, building automation system experience (BAS). Supervisory experience leading a group of 5-10 facilities personnel, knowledge of joint commission standards, knowledge of USP 797 / 800 standards, MAXIMO (CMMS) experience, BAS experience in Apogee and Desigo.

Work Schedule : Monday-Friday, 3pm-11 : 30pm Salary Range : $88,000 - $110,000 - $132,000

Summary

The primary purpose of the Operations and Maintenance Supervisor position is to provide experienced administrative and technical support for the maintenance and operations of all buildings, structures, systems, components and utilities and assist the department Manager, Assistant Director, and Director by coordinating and supervision of designated shops and all associated activities.

Essential Job Functions

Required : High School Diploma or Equivalent. Five years in one or more craft areas including three years lead / supervisory experience. Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and / or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
