Job Details
We are currently seeking a seasoned Permanent Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law to join our growing legal team.
This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a reputable law firm, where you will be responsible for handling complex family law cases from start to finish, including litigation.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, and other related issues.
The candidate should also have experience with legal liability and legal compliance.
Responsibilities :
- Provide legal representation to clients, presenting facts in a clear and persuasive manner in court and through legal documents.
- Conduct research to identify and anticipate legal issues that could impact the client.
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and briefs.
- Negotiate settlements in a manner that is in the best interest of the client.
- Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
- Maintain a high level of professional conduct and adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.
- Stay updated on developments in family law and advise clients on any changes that may affect their cases.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and other required appearances.
- Maintain a strong relationship with clients and provide them with regular updates on case progress.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must possess a current license to practice law in the state.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law, with a proven track record of handling all aspects of family law cases.
- Experience in legal liability and legal compliance is a must.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate legal strategies to clients and other legal professionals.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under strict deadlines.
