About the Role
We are excited to invite applications for the role of Vice President of Pricing Strategy. In this instrumental position, you will lead and develop a high-performing pricing team, crafting and executing innovative cost strategies for competitive proposals. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with executive management and multiple departments to design pricing models that align with our business goals.
This role not only focuses on the preparation of compliant cost and price proposals but also on enhancing and refining our proposal processes, implementing quality control measures, and conducting rigorous peer reviews. You'll have the opportunity to mentor your team, instilling best practices and fostering professional growth.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in government contracting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong communication skills, the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, and a comprehensive understanding of various contract types and their cost / price analysis are essential. A successful track record in leading pricing teams and managing large, complex proposals within the federal government services market is preferred.
A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is an added advantage. Familiarity with federal government market intelligence tools and bidding practices for Alaskan Native-owned organizations will be beneficial.
