This Accounting Specialist position is integral to the day-to-day accounting operations supporting complex, fast-paced construction projects. Overview of the Accounting Specialist role :

Processing accounts payable transactions monthly, primarily received through a digital inbox.

Job cost coding and verification, working closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate job coding and proper system entries.

Automated approvals routing-you'll oversee and manage an efficient digital workflow to ensure timely authorizations.

Printing checks for final approval, and preparing documentation in alignment with internal procedures.

Matching truck tickets and assisting with administrative tasks associated with job billing processes.

Supporting billing processes and ensuring invoice accuracy.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured yet high-volume environment and enjoys problem-solving within construction-related accounting workflows.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Specialist

The successful Accounting Specialist will be :

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role; construction industry background highly desirable.

Strong familiarity with AP, billing processes, and job costing.

Proven ability to adapt quickly to new systems and workflows.

Proficient in working with accounting systems beyond just QuickBooks-experience with Acumatica is a major plus.
