Oem Sales Representative

We are seeking a career-oriented OEM Sales Representative to join our team, offering opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic, high-energy sales environment. Pay range : earn $55,000-$65,000 a year with unlimited monthly commission to skyrocket your income! Plus, enjoy a company vehicle, cell phone, and laptop to fuel your success!

Job overview : The OEM Sales Representative will drive sales of diesel engines and transmissions in the off-highway OEM market, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers across diverse industries such as construction, industrial, agriculture, forestry, and mining.

Key responsibilities :

  • Actively promote and secure sales of diesel engines and transmissions in the OEM off-highway market.
  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing OEM customers across various applications and market segments.
  • Identify and develop new customer contacts to expand market share in construction, industrial, agriculture, forestry, mining, and related industries.
  • Collaborate with customers to provide technical expertise and sales support.
  • Work with key customer contacts in sales, engineering, and procurement to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Develop innovative products and application solutions to deliver added value to customers.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with product vendors.
  • Engage in continuous improvement through product training and sales workshops.
  • Travel up to 50% within the assigned territory (minnesota and iowa).

Ideal qualifications :

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies, business plans, and achieve goals.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment and applications.
  • Technical or mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience in consultative sales.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of outside sales experience in product or equipment sales.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required.
