Job overview : The OEM Sales Representative will drive sales of diesel engines and transmissions in the off-highway OEM market, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers across diverse industries such as construction, industrial, agriculture, forestry, and mining.
Key responsibilities :
- Actively promote and secure sales of diesel engines and transmissions in the OEM off-highway market.
- Build and nurture relationships with new and existing OEM customers across various applications and market segments.
- Identify and develop new customer contacts to expand market share in construction, industrial, agriculture, forestry, mining, and related industries.
- Collaborate with customers to provide technical expertise and sales support.
- Work with key customer contacts in sales, engineering, and procurement to foster long-term partnerships.
- Develop innovative products and application solutions to deliver added value to customers.
- Maintain and grow relationships with product vendors.
- Engage in continuous improvement through product training and sales workshops.
- Travel up to 50% within the assigned territory (minnesota and iowa).
