Opportunity at a Glance
Chamberlain University Student Ambassadors (CSA) hold administrative support roles to welcome future students to Chamberlain University.
The responsibility of each Ambassador is to assist future students during the application process and answer questions to prepare them to start their journey in our pre-licensure BSN program.
CSAs serve as representatives of the Chamberlain student body and an extension of Admission providing future students opportunities to interact and ask questions regarding the Chamberlain University student experience.
Selected students can participate in the program, on campus, 5-7 hours per week during the semester with blackout weeks during mid-terms / finals (up to a total of 55 hours).
- Must be willing to perform a variety of administrative tasks within the admission department including, but not limited to :
- Lead applicant webinars, panels and informational sessions
- Connect one-on-one with applicants who have questions
- Host tours (both virtual and in person)
- Engage the correct teams where appropriate
- Participate in recruitment events (Open Houses, New Student Orientation and Experience Nursing Days)
- Educate future students on the quality educational experience offered at Chamberlain University
- Abides by University and department policies and philosophies.
- Maintains a working / learning environment that is clean, safe, secure, and problem free.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be an enrolled student at CU with a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Statement of Intent
- Never have been found in violation of the CU Code of Conduct
- Adhere to policies in the Student Handbook
- One - two years general office experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to relate and communicate with prospective students in one-on-one and group settings
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism
- Must be a team player, be flexible, and be a good listener with a high level of patience
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload
- Adhere to regulatory guidelines for ethical student recruitment
Additional InformationIn support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $12.
62 and $20.73. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training;
geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility. Our Talent Acquisition Team will be happy to answer any questions you may have, and we look forward to learning more about your salary requirements.
