Job Description

What You Will Accomplish

Lead the strategic design, development, and execution of training programs and learning strategies that enhance team member performance and support the organization's business goals. Programs would include leadership training programs that drive organizational capability and business compliance, enhance leadership effectiveness, and build a strong internal leadership pipeline. This role will determine current and future performance priorities, and proactively source, design and implement performance solutions and training initiatives to meet those needs. Be an advocate for standardizing and creating best in class learning and development initiatives across all business entities. Lead by example with their own conduct, holds others accountable, and has an unshakeable commitment to the Company's values and culture.

Key Responsibilities :

Program Development & Implementation

  • Oversee management for the enterprise LMS, including implementation of learning platform and training courses.
  • Designs and implements scalable, high-impact training materials that ensure adequate onboarding programs that ensure compliance, job readiness and develops future leaders.
  • Drives learning innovation by incorporating AI-powered learning tools and techniques.

Learning Delivery & Facilitation

  • Delivers engaging and interactive training sessions (instructor-led, virtual, or blended learning), workshops, and leadership labs on various leadership topics under the direction of VP of People & Culture.
  • Adapts facilitation style to different learning audiences and adjusts content delivery based on participant needs. Seeks post-training feedback and maintains agility in implementing feedback into training sessions.
  • Utilizes modern learning techniques to enhance learner engagement.
  • Drives bi-annual team member engagement survey and annual review process across all entities.
  • Partner with the VP of People & Culture to build and implement a comprehensive leadership development strategy that aligns with company goals, culture, and long-term vision.
  • Create and manage learning programs that support career progression, succession planning, and business growth, leveraging action learning, mentoring, coaching, and experiential development.
  • Conduct leadership assessments, 360 feedback, talent reviews, and gap analyses; utilize tools like AcuMax and Talent Plus to personalize and strengthen leadership development and drive established Leadership Expectations.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development property teams to enhance training content and delivery based on business needs, learner feedback, and evolving leadership expectations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, championing leadership development as a catalyst for organizational culture and transformation while ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture leaders, property teams, and key stakeholders to identify leadership capability gaps and design tailored learning interventions based on organizational needs and work environment insights.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and training partners to deliver high-impact leadership programs that are relevant, scalable, and aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Measurements & Continuous Improvement

  • Develops and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of leadership development initiatives and the six leadership tracks.
  • Regularly evaluates and refines training and leadership programs based on participant feedback, business impact, and evolving leadership trends.
  • Stays ahead of emerging trends in leadership development, incorporating innovative approaches and technologies.
  • What You Will Bring

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working within a Learning and Development role directly tied to training development and facilitation.
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources / Learning and Development concepts and practices.
  • Ability to assess training needs and develop strategic plan accordingly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited resources.
  • Strong communications skills, a high level of tact and polish in both presentation and communication and able to effectively interact with internal business partners and senior leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Fully In-Office work expectation with ability to travel 25% of the time or as needed to ensure success.

  • Prior hospitality experience, knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide Standards a plus
  • Formal education and / or certification directly related to Learning & Development
  • Creativity and innovation; ability to generate new and innovative approaches to learning and development.
  • A passion for service and teamwork; an enthusiastic, can-do approach.
  • Highly collaborative, organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Special Skills & Abilities / Mental and Physical Demands :

    While performing the duties of the job the team member regularly sits for sustained periods of time. The team member is occasionally required to stand and walk around the property. Occasional visits to individual resort properties that have a wide diversity of topography are required. While performing the duties of the job the team member frequently uses fingers to enter data into computer or operate telephone / office equipment. The team member occasionally grasps objects. The team member frequently reaches by extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Repetitive motions are made while entering data into computers. The team member occasionally stoops, kneels and crouches. The team member regularly talks and hears to answer phones and communicates with guests or team members. Lifting is occasionally required to move luggage and equipment. Exerts up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and / or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The team member is required to have close visual acuity to view telephone console, computer terminal, documents and guests. The team member is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.

    The team member is subject to inside environmental conditions. The noise level is moderate. The team member is subject to hazards that include proximity to electrical current found in office related equipment. The team member is occasionally subject to atmospheric conditions such as perfumes, odors, or dusts.
