Staff Accountant Opportunity

Opening for a Staff Accountant seeking a company they can grow in. The right Staff Accountant for this role is someone achievement-oriented and focused on their work. The right Staff Accountant will be over :

• Assist with the period-end close process by reviewing and completing assigned period-end functions while also performing reconciliations and maintaining documentation related to balance sheet accounts.
• Perform period over period and year over year variance analysis for expense accounts.
• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts on a periodic / quarterly basis.
• Prepare period end journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare reports for external departments
