Job Title - Product Manager - Field Management

Location : Portland OR, Westminster CO or Remote

Position Overview

Trimble Construction One Project and Operations solutions enhance construction collaboration and visibility by connecting the back office and field operations with the extended project team.

The solutions result in optimal resource deployment, increased productivity and on time, on budget delivery. As a Product Manager, you will work with a team to drive our product(s) direction and growth.

This will include driving growth and user adoption as well as driving our strategy to transform Field Management. You will utilize your unique blend of business and construction operations knowledge to create a big-picture vision, and drive to make that vision into a reality.

You will spend time in the market understanding our customer’s problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

You will communicate with all areas of the company and work with engineering and user experience counterparts to define product requirements.

You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers.

You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for the solution offering, working with the sales channel and key customers.

Primary Responsibilities

Own the product vision for defined portions of Field Management strategy including project / sprint management, communications, requirement gathering, support orchestration, executive status updates and business partner relationship management.

Set your engineering teams up for success by collaborating closely in sprint activities, providing them with relevant user stories, and guiding them in effort estimation.

Collaborate with other product managers, engineering staff, UX designers and other stakeholders to develop and maintain the roadmap for products and features.

Manage the entire product line life cycle from ideation and strategic planning to tactical initiatives.

Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and prospects.

Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.

Ultimate responsibility for shipping products with meaningful business results, and sharing that success with the whole team

Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.

Qualifications

BA / BS in Construction Management, accounting or a related field

Construction industry experience plus a minimum of five years experience in a product support, product planning or consulting environment or an equivalent combination.

Deep understanding of construction project and operations workflows and methodologies.

Ability to lead and direct major cross-functional initiatives with effective prioritization and influence.

Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly and persuasively, and drive a high level of focus and excellence with a talented dev team.

Comfortable with using data to make technical product decisions

Special Attention Given to Candidates with :

Experience working with fully remote teams across time zones

Experience in Construction Management

Experience in construction-specific enterprise software

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
