Description
1. Direct incoming phone calls to appropriate personnel to solve problems.
2. Input new data into computer upon receipt.
3. Delete old and inaccurate data from computer.
4. Notify proper person when equipment fails.
5. Maintain accurate files on items received and distributed.
6. Make all necessary changes to computer to insure efficiency.
7. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
8. Assist with pre-inventory preparation and actual inventory.
9. Communicates effectively with Principals, Department Heads, District staff and all other Service Center (s) personnel, contractors and vendors in a professional manner in all phases necessary to complete each job and project.
10. Maintains an acceptable grooming standard and dress code as required by the Dallas ISD and Service Center (s) department.
11. All federally funded incumbents of this position must comply with time and effort reporting requirements through personnel activity reports or periodic certification, as appropriate.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Directly supervises none.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
High school diploma and / or General Education Diploma.
Minimum two (2) years of general office experience.
Must possess typing skills (40 wpm) and capability in using general office equipment.
Proficient skills using personal computer programs, including Excel and Word.
Must have a clear speaking voice and present a neat appearance for meeting the public.
Good communication skills and human relations.
