Payroll Specialist
As we grow globally, we are looking to hire 3 Payroll Specialists focused on US and Canadian payrolls. This is a fully remote role in Costa Rica, and will support our North and South American teams. An ideal candidate will have a background with automated payroll systems (SAP is a strong plus) and three plus years of experience with US / Canadian payrolls. Our team is collaborative with a continuous improvement mindset, and this will be a growth opportunity.
Key Responsibilities :
- End to end payroll processing US & Canada, ensure employees are paid accurately on time and in compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records and systems.
- Review and verify payroll data, including timekeeping records, earnings and deductions.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Employee support- serve as a point of contact for payroll related inquiries.
- Conduct system audits and reconciliation to identify any discrepancies in payroll data and calculations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Requirements :
3+ years US payroll experience.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.FPC certification is a plus, but not required.Payroll software proficiency-e.g, SAP Success Factors ECP,ADP SAP Globalview or WorkdayFamiliarity with automated HRIS, Time and absence systemsMust be proficient in MS Excel
