Job Title : IT Programmer Analyst
Location : Houston, TX
Position Type : Contract
Position Overview
The IT Programmer Analyst is responsible for conducting moderate to complex analysis within the assigned application area. This role includes monitoring system resources, evaluating application and business processes, and analyzing historical information trends to ensure optimal departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Provide application and technical support for enterprise financial, supply chain, and payroll systems
Perform analysis, development, and support activities across assigned applications
Monitor system performance and resource utilization
Evaluate business processes and recommend system enhancements
Develop and maintain batch jobs, programs, and scripts to automate business processes
Support integrations and cross-system communication through workflows and notifications
Analyze and present historical data trends to support operational decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Supply Chain, Payroll, and IT
Must-Have Qualifications
Ability to support non-Infor Lawson applications when required
Strong functional knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain, and Payroll
Experience with Infor Lawson IPA (Infor Process Automation) , including workflows, notifications, and integrations
Proficiency in application and technical support for Infor Lawson using :
Lawson 4GL
COBOL
SQL
ProcessFlow
Experience creating and maintaining Lawson batch jobs, programs, and scripts to automate business processes across Finance, SCM, and Payroll modules
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with Lawson Design Studio (LDS) forms, UI customizations, and JavaScript enhancements
Knowledge of non-core Infor Lawson S3 applications (e.g., MSCM, XM, LBI)
Previous experience participating in or supporting migrations from Infor Lawson to Oracle Fusion
