Landscape Controller

Landscape Controller Position Overview :

The Landscape Controller will work closely with the General Managers and Operating teams at Outworx Group’s Landscaping divisions (GroundTek, Gold Landscape & Lawn Butler) as well as plan and direct the accounting operations of the Landscaping Divisions.

Responsibilities :

• Financial Reporting : Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
• Financial Analysis : Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
• General Ledger Management : Oversee the general ledger, chart of accounts, and journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable : Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including overseeing invoicing, collections, and payments.
• Cash Management : Manage cash flow, monitor banking activities, and optimize the use of surplus funds.
• Supervision : Lead and manage the accounting and finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Financial Strategy : Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies and policies to support the organization's growth and objectives.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA Preferred.
• Experience : Relevant experience in accounting and finance. Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.Technical
• Skills : Proficiency in financial software, such as ERP systems, and advanced knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
• Communication : Excellent communication skills to convey financial information to non-finance professionals and stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail : Precision and attention to detail are essential in maintaining accurate financial records.
• Organizational Skills : The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Integrity : High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial information and transactions.
• Adaptability : Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments and requirements.
