Responsibilities
- Part-time faculty float pool position (Didactic only; no lab or clinical).
- Teaching assignment occurs as needed.
- Class occurs at a campus location in the in-person learning environment. (Online synchronous class may be available as a second option.)
- Assigned course will align with the faculty’s clinical experience, adult heath, community health, pediatrics, etc.
- Must complete an onboarding module and course / curriculum specific orientation to last five to six weeks (approx. 16-18 hours total).
- Teaches the didactic course content under supervision of course coordinator or other supervisor.
- Keeps course coordinator or location leader informed of all student and agency issues and concerns.
- Is available for student remediation as required and needed.
- Grades and returns course assignments and other required course work in a timely manner.
- Assumes responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads.
- Evaluates and provides documented feedback to students on level of performance based on course objectives.
- Implements the University’s philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives in the selected learning environment.
- Contributes to the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs and the University.
- Works with college administration, staff and other faculty members to improve the overall operation of the college and student satisfaction rates.
- Participates in the implementation of campus retention efforts and departmental and campus policies.
- Serves as a professional role model for other faculty, staff, and students in the areas of customer service, collaboration, communication, excellence, dress, attendance, and general professionalism.
- Complies with all applicable regulatory rules and standards.
- Reports to the dean, teaching and learning.

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Campus :
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $850 per credit hour to $1,004 per credit hour, depending on the candidate’s education and experience.
Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
