Job description

Sr Human Resource Specialist

Location: 1500 E Woodrow Wilson Ave, Jackson, MS 39216

Duration: Long term contract

Responsibilities:

Help recruitment strategies for healthcare, and medical roles, manage the hiring process, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Handle complex employee matters, promote a collaborative culture, and resolve conflicts professionally. Stay updated on healthcare regulations, align HR practices, and manage essential employee documentation. Oversee benefits administration, support staff development, and recommend training programs. Assist in designing performance appraisal systems and guide managers on evaluations and feedback. Maintain accurate records, generate HR reports, and identify improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in HR, Healthcare Admin, or related field. Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor relations, and best practices in the healthcare sector. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with medical staff, administrators, and employees. Strong communication and confidentiality skills. Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office. Any HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
