Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a CLEARED Linux System Administrator to join a large scale federal program for ground systems and geospatial support. This is a full-time position and onsite at Langley AFB in Hampton, VA.

Essential Duties of the Linux System Administrator:

• Perform a variety of system administration and maintenance functions associated with the monitoring and controlling LINUX and Windows computers hosting classified intelligence data and software applications.
• Administrative operations include performing configuration changes, system backup and restore, troubleshooting, and user account administration.
• Other functions include maintaining system operational availability, supporting installations, developing solutions to technical issues.

Qualifications of the Linux System Administrator:

• . and 2-4 years of experience or no degree and 10-12 years of experience.
• Linux experience is required (Solaris, Linux, Red Hat, etc).
• Knowledge in deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting core Linux capabilities including Active Directory authentication, permission management, and package management.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance.

Compensation for the Linux System Administrator:

• $100,000 - $125,000 (based on experience)
