We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable technology solutions across multiple projects, portfolios, and technology stacks. The ideal candidate will have strong application development and solution architecture experience, with recent hands-on involvement across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role requires the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, evaluate and defend architectural decisions, and provide technical leadership across application, integration, data, security, infrastructure, and cloud architecture domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end solution architectures across application, integration, data, security, infrastructure, and cloud environments, including AWS and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical requirements and solution designs that address business challenges and objectives.
• Prepare and present technical architecture designs, diagrams, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining technology choices, architectural decisions, and trade-offs.
• Design solutions using different architectural patterns, including three-tier web applications, mobile applications, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop technical designs for application components, APIs, integrations, AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions.
• Lead technical discussions on functional and non-functional requirements (NFRs), including security, scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability, and drive consensus on complex architectural decisions.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance throughout the SDLC, including application design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring developers on software development best practices.
• Design and develop reusable frameworks, libraries, and common components that can be leveraged across applications and portfolios.
• Identify and mitigate architectural and technical risks, lead technical remediation efforts, and support Architecture Review Board (ARB) exception requests and remediation plans.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and Portfolio Landscape documentation while collaborating with architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining high-quality architectural deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills:

• Significant hands-on experience in solution architecture, application development, and enterprise application design across multiple technology stacks.
• Recent hands-on involvement across the full SDLC within the past three years, with sufficient current application development experience to conduct effective technical design reviews and code reviews.
• Strong experience architecting and designing applications across technology stacks such as Java, Node.js, Angular, React, and relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS, including public cloud and hybrid architectures integrating cloud and on-premises environments.
• Strong knowledge of application integration technologies, protocols, and patterns, including APIs, message-oriented middleware (MOM), REST, SOAP, GraphQL, SAML, and OAuth.
• Experience designing different application architectures, including traditional three-tier web applications, mobile applications, and event-driven systems.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, integration design, security, data architecture, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, and modern software design patterns.
• Strong ability to understand business and functional requirements at different levels of abstraction, translate them into technical solutions, and communicate architectural recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and tactical technical leadership, design and defend end-to-end architectures across application, integration, security, data, and infrastructure domains, evaluate technical trade-offs, drive consensus, and mitigate architectural risks.
• Excellent technical and non-technical communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and mentor development teams.

• Willingness and ability to learn and work with emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT).
• Ability to adapt to vendor-specific enterprise platforms such as SAP, Adobe, and Salesforce, based on project requirements.
