Cad designer Jobs in Greensboro, NC

Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE CAD Engineer for our client based out of Greensboro, NC. This assignment is anticipated to be a 12 -month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and design engineering documentation, such as drawings, 3D models, and CAD modules / assemblies.
• Mature the product in the CAD system.
• Redesign existing models (e.g., redesign of small areas).
• Design components in CAD.
• Create assemblies of CAD models, and detect, report, and resolve packaging conflicts.
• Secure quality and readiness before release.
• Define how to use the drawing as the basis for verifying the product's geometrical properties.
• Produce technical drawings that are sufficient to define a product.
• Support junior team members and peers.
• Act as a role model of lifelong learning, sharing knowledge, and developing others as a trainer and / or coach.
• Develop influence and work confidently.
• Clearly articulate how value is created within their part.
