Join First Watch as the Operations Director and play a vital role in supporting our mission, vision, and values. In this key position, you will focus on developing General Managers and restaurant management teams to drive sales growth and improve profitability while ensuring employee and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and culture of You First within our concept. As Operations Director, you will oversee the success of multiple First Watch restaurants, managing 5-8 direct reports and a workforce of 200-300 employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational activities across a group of First Watch Restaurants while adhering to company guidelines focused on management development, sales, profitability, planning, and customer relations.
• Train, coach, and develop General Managers and Operations Managers through timely performance feedback and evaluations.
• Oversee the training of MIT's / CAFE's and hourly employees, collaborating closely with the Training General Manager to track progress.
• Ensure the development of Operations Managers in compliance with the First Watch management development programs.
• Implement effective manpower planning to continuously develop the management team, ensuring timely and cost-effective recruitment and training of restaurant-level management.
• Maintain a safe and harassment-free workplace in all restaurants.
• Tackle problems swiftly and responsibly, using reason to address individual performance issues, including personality conflicts.
• Develop, for prior approval, and strive to meet or exceed the area's budget, which includes capital investments and General Administrative expenses.
• Actively promote First Watch outside the restaurant.
