Responsibilities
Conduct surveys to determine property boundaries.
- Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports of surveys.
- Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
- Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as GPS equipment, theodolites, and total stations.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to deliver accurate land assessments.
- Research legal records, survey records, and land titles to understand the context of a land area.
- Supervise and manage field staff to ensure survey accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports on survey results to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to land surveys
- Advise on land development and construction projects based on survey results.
