Your Role at KIK

As a Chemical Operator-2nd shift you will play a crucial role on the team. Responsibilities include batching, dabbling in water treatment and working with bleach products and other chemicals. This is a 2nd shift position, M-F with hours from 2 : 30pm-11 : 00pm and mandatory OT as needed. The pay starts at $21.58.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Candidate must be able to perform the duties of a chemical operator in the manufacturing of Bleach in a plant setting.
• Manage the loading and unloading of Chlorine Rail Cars
• Perform quality checks such as titration, filter testing, and water hardness testing on the product batched.
• Manage raw material via forklift truck.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs (gasket replacements, processing piping PM ect) in the area
• Complete appropriate paperwork, communicate via email shift status
• Carefully follow guidelines for wastewater treatment and disposal of wastewater.
• Comply with all OSHA Hazard Materials Procedures to safely handle chemicals
• Follow Safety / GMP guidelines
• Participate in the site emergency response team

The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills / experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic / office location.
